Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using the Synatel platform at synatel.co.uk. By accessing or using this website you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.

1. About Us

This website is operated by SYNATEL Instrumentation Limited, a company registered in England and Wales.

2. Services

Through this platform we provide access to:

  • PCB (printed circuit board) procurement and assembly quotation and ordering
  • Electronic component sourcing and BOM (bill of materials) management
  • Sub-contract electronic manufacturing services
  • Free initial consultation appointments (phone or video call)
  • Technical information, guides and blog content

PCB procurement and assembly orders are fulfilled in partnership with ALLPCB. By placing an order, you acknowledge that your order data will be shared with ALLPCB for fulfilment purposes.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any part of our services at any time without notice.

3. Eligibility and Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years of age and acting in a business or professional capacity to use our platform. By registering an account you confirm that:

  • You are authorised to enter into contracts on behalf of yourself or your organisation
  • All information you provide is accurate, current and complete
  • You will keep your account credentials confidential and notify us immediately of any unauthorised use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts where we have reason to believe these terms have been breached.

4. Free Consultation Appointments

4.1 Nature of the Service

We offer free 30-minute initial consultation appointments (by phone or video call) to discuss your PCB, assembly or manufacturing requirements. These consultations are provided without charge and without obligation to place an order.

4.2 Booking

Appointments can be booked online via the booking form at synatel.co.uk/book-appointment. A booking is confirmed only when you receive a written confirmation from us. We reserve the right to decline or reschedule any booking request.

4.3 Cancellation and Rescheduling

We ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. To do so, please email webmail@synatel.co.uk with your booking reference. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments where necessary, and will give you as much notice as possible in such cases.

4.4 Information Shared During Consultations

Any technical information, design details or business requirements you share during a consultation will be treated as confidential and used only for the purposes of assisting with your enquiry. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details of how your data is handled.

4.5 No Guarantee of Availability

Appointment slots are subject to staff availability. Completing a booking form does not guarantee availability until confirmed in writing by us.

5. Orders and Quotes

5.1 Quotes

Quotations provided on this platform are indicative only and do not constitute a binding offer. Prices are subject to change without notice and may vary based on final specification, quantity, lead time and material availability.

5.2 Placing an Order

An order is placed when you submit your PCB specifications and payment via our checkout. A contract between you and SYNATEL Instrumentation Limited is formed upon our written confirmation of acceptance (typically by email).

5.3 Technical Files

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of all Gerber files, BOM data and specifications you upload. We will manufacture to the files provided and accept no liability for errors, omissions or design defects in files submitted by you.

5.4 Pricing

All prices shown are in Pounds Sterling (GBP) and exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. VAT at the current UK rate will be applied at checkout to UK orders. Import duties or taxes applicable to international orders are the buyer's responsibility.

6. Payment

Payment is due in full at the time of ordering unless a credit account has been agreed in writing. We accept major debit and credit cards via our PCI-compliant payment processor. We do not store full payment card details.

We reserve the right to cancel any order where payment cannot be verified or where fraud is suspected.

7. Delivery and Lead Times

Lead times are estimates only and may vary based on product complexity, material availability and logistics. We will not be liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including carrier delays, customs clearance or force majeure events.

Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the address specified in your order. Title passes upon receipt of full payment.

8. Cancellations and Returns

Because PCB orders are manufactured to your specific design files, they are custom-made goods and are not eligible for return or refund once production has commenced, except in the following circumstances:

  • The boards are materially defective due to a manufacturing error on our part
  • The boards do not match the confirmed specification

Claims for defective goods must be submitted within 14 days of receipt, with photographic evidence. We will at our discretion arrange a replacement, credit or refund.

Orders may be cancelled without charge within 2 hours of placement, provided production has not commenced. To cancel, email webmail@synatel.co.uk immediately.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, software and design files created by us, is the intellectual property of SYNATEL Instrumentation Limited or its licensors and is protected by UK and international copyright law.

Your Gerber files, BOM data and design files remain your intellectual property. You grant us a limited licence to use these files solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from our website content without our prior written consent.

10. Confidentiality

We treat your design files, technical data and any information shared during consultations as confidential. We will not share your files or information with any third party other than ALLPCB or our manufacturing partners for the sole purpose of fulfilling your order, and will not use your designs or consultation information for any other purpose.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or in connection with these terms shall not exceed the total price paid by you for the relevant order
  • We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental or special loss, including loss of profits, loss of business or loss of data
  • We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law
  • We accept no liability for the outcome of any business decisions made following a consultation appointment

12. Third-Party Links

This website may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for your convenience only. We have no control over and accept no responsibility for the content or privacy practices of any third-party sites.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version published on this page at the time of your order or booking will apply. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
